"Stinky" cup holder liner inserts?
Good Afternoon everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has had this lovely experience...
Today I got into my car to go to the store - its been closed up tight since about 7 PM yesterday evening when I got home from work. Its not hot here, it was sub-30 degrees here last night. And is in the mid 50s right now.
I noticed a funny smell that have only caught a whiff of here and there. I used to smoke in my car (have since quit altogether - best move I could make) - so it still has that residual smell, which is fading.
This is hard to describe. Almost like old socks. I started sniffing around and landed on the cup holder liners. The front 2 positively reek!! I pulled them out and soaked them in some extra hot soapy water for a bit. I then scrubbed them with a brush and rinsed thoroughly. They still smell, but not nearly as pungent.
Anyone else had fun with this?
