Sunroof Drain?
#12
I bet you could. The front drain tube are fairly short, the rear drain tubes run to the back of the car and when you remove the side covers in the cargo area (where you get to the tail lights) the tubes can be seen (one on each side).

The solution!
I have the same issue. After reading this thread and assocoated threads,I watched this video:
Now,after watching the video, the solution is,remove the grommet valve and using an appropriate size drill bit or small sharp knife like an X-acto blade, remove the four triangular pieces so that debris no longer gets trapped behind it,and using compressed air alone should keep the lines clear.Replace valve in door jamb and done for good!

That bozo missed the other 2 drains. And the 90 degree turns are fittings that can be disconnected by forcing your probe. Don't know why he removed the door, but it answers the question; How to unplug the electrical conduit.

I used a coat hanger to clear them at the door jamb.I plan on removing the doors to alter them soon when the weather gets cooler. With the door off,you can remove it and alter it and replace it in a matter of minutes.Using compressed air is best.

I cleaned my drains the following way.
I put simple green into the drain holes in the sun roof using a small funnel . I let it sit n hour and then used 16 gauge wire with no sharp ends showing - stranded wire. I worked the wire into the drains and the amount of junk that came out was amazing.
From what I felt and "saw" I think that the door end may contain a check valve to stop water / air- fumes from traveling up the drain tube and into the sun roof drain. I believe the drains are on the passenger side of the sunroof.
It would be interesting to know if the drains "leak" when the sunroof is closed and the check valves are removed at highway speeds... just a thought

No need to remove doors.......
I did mine without removing the doors. Has enough length to push from inside behind panel to extend enough for turning sideways and used 3/8 drill bit to open the cross up. Problem solved in about an hour, both sides.
