My HHR doesn't have the sunroof, and I miss it (my last 06 Impala had it). It's single best usage is to leave it open when parked on hot days, keeps the interior MUCH cooler, it doesn't get superheated sitting in the sun.

Everyday, all the time. Had on my last car and the only reason I wouldn't get one would be if I'm getting a convertible.

I scored with my 07 find it had everything i wanted I was looking for: white,gray or black int(I got gray but wish it was darker water leaves stains ) fog lamps,7 speaker sound,ABS,sun roof and chrome package I love the sun roof I use it every day either to or fromm work most of the time both There great imo lets in the right amount of fresh air and is quiter then the window down on the freeway(my wife calls it my fart vent and yes it works great for that also

thanks for all the comments but I think I am going with the color I want first and that one does not have a sunroof. I can always drive my wifes Acadia if I want to drive with a sunroof that day.. It does seem like most people that have it, use it..

The dealer has looked out 500 miles and the 2 other silverstone SS's where sold yesterday. Only 3 where available, period. Tons of black and Red out there but had no interest in either one of those colors. I prefer metallic lighter colors to solid colors like red black and white.

I use my sunroof in the vent position. Open that up,turn on the air, and it gets cooler,quicker. I didn't think I would use it at all.

I usually keep it closed and on hot days keep it covered.
But I use it all the time at stop lights when I cannot see them ( The curse of the HHR ). I look out the sunroof to see the traffic lights.

I use the Sun-roof almost every day. And I live in Arizona....110 degrees today....used it almost all day (until the spouse gets in the car and she B*****!

Use it often... even here in Washington state... open it to keep the car cool when parked... and in stop and go traffic. not so much on the hwy
