Testing~Show Car Display Card~Designing Stages

~Show Car Display~

2008 Chevrolet HHR Panel 2LT
Bought July 13, 2010 with 19,078 Miles.

Engine:
Ecotec 2.4L
K&N Air Filter
Purple "Anodized" Valve Cover
Mirror Finished Stainless Steel Accents
Transmission:
4 Speed Automatic
Drivetrain:
Front Wheel Drive
Interior: Stock/Customized
Stock Ebony (Black) Interior
The Panels "Storage Bins" were Removed to make way for the Matching Ebony Rear Seat and Seat Belts Added to this HHR Panel 2LT.
(Sadly a 2009 Windowed HHR had to give it's life in order to Donate(Buy) it's interior parts.)
Chevrolet did Not offer the Rear Seat as an Option for the Panel Version of the HHR.
This Addition, gives the 2 Seater Panel, Room for 5.

Audio/Video
9" Headrest LCD Monitors were added, so rear seat passengers can watch Movies or Choose from 29 Video Games built into the system and can be listened to by either the sound system or Wireless Headphones.
(Without rear Windows, this keeps the rear seat passengers
Busy & Happy.)

A 7" Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD Keeps the Front Seat Passenger Happy.
(With a Relay Modification so Video can be Displayed while driving. For the Passengers Viewing Pleasure.)
2 Alpine Amps
Pioneer Speakers
And a 12" Pioneer Sub Woofer. Keeps the Owner Happy.
The Interior Doors had a Silver strip as Stock. I Purple "Anodized" them to Match the Purple Accents Throughout.

Paint:
By Gm, Black.

Wheels:
Mustang Billet Replicas, drilled out to fit the 5 110 pattern of the HHR.
Fronts - 17" X 8"
Rears - 17" X 10.5" Deep Dish
(OK I CAN DREAM THESE WILL FIT/WORK CAN'T I? I Will Look into it Further next Spring when I have some extra Cash saved up for Tires and Rims.)
Tires:
Firestone P215/50R17's
Front Calipers and Rear Brake Drums are "Anodized" Purple.

Owner and Builder:
ENTER MY NAME HERE

I am planning on "Showing" my Panel at a few small local shows. Just for the Fun on it. And since I have the Vinyl Cutters and Software, plus 40 or so rolls of vinyl on hand, I decided I will make a "Show Car Display".

Most likely I won't "Show" it until Spring After I get new Chrome Wheels and Tires on it. And the 1955 Tail Lights.

This is just a Rough Draft so far. I havent even included the '55 Tail Lights in the descriptions, Not sure what to put them under, "Body Mods"?

Any thoughts?
Background color will be BLACK with Purple and some other Bright colors used.

Once I start creating it in FlexiSIGN Pro, I will post a Pic.

Overall, looks good. Some strange locations for periods (.) and in my opinion some non essential information given. Also some spell checks: Need to add the e to Wirless, drop the extra o in too after listened, and add the a to Plesure.

Thanks.

Fixed a couple with a quick Edit here.

Just working on it in wordpad right now.

"non essential information given" Is basically to keep it Light Hearted, I'm not real Serious Showing it, just like car shows in general and BS'ing with other car guys.

I Don't ever expect to Win anything, just have a blast. I have eveything needed to make these and Banners, I have rolls of Magnetic material that I can place on my panel like it was "vintage advertising" still thinking about that.

Gonna be a Long Winter, so I got time to get it all together.

Theres alot of Night shows of sorts at fast food joints that I will go check out.

I'll save the competition, for showing the 55 Bel Air Hardtop once finished.

To help clean up the text a bit.... the mixture of upper/lower case is hard on your readers. The use of upper case letter/capitalization for non-proper nouns is bad form. Here is a helper for those guidelines:

Thanks, your right.

I started doing just that as I went, but forgot to space out the first few.

Done here now.

if it was me I would also try another method. Using your vinyl actually create a negative or reverse of all the info, lay this very carefully on lets say black acrylic, then use an etching cream on it. So you'll be etching all of the words in, wen you're done, remove all the vinyl and you'll have a custom etched piece instead of just vinyl.

Just my thoughts. I used this process when I did a custom paint job on my guitar hero guitar (yeah i'm a geek). It is a PITA but you can get some awesome results compared to just vinyl.

Nice idea, I put it in my notes here.

There are several websites for this type stuff, so I am searching around getting ideas.

Thanks
