2008 Chevrolet HHR Panel 2LT
Built...(there is a build date thread. you can put in the last 8 characters of your vin, and a moderator called chevymgr or something like that will give you your build date)
Bought July 13, 2010 with 19,078 Miles.
Engine:
Ecotec 2.4L
K&N Air Filter
Purple Anodized Valve Cover (do not put anodized in quotes)
Mirror Finished Stainless Steel Accents
Transmission:
4 Speed Automatic
Drivetrain:
Front Wheel Drive
Interior: Stock/Customized
Stock Ebony (Black) Interior
The Panel's (use an apostrophe, possessive tense) Storage Bins (do not put storage bins in quotes) were Removed to make way for the Matching Ebony Rear Seat and Seat Belts Added to this HHR Panel 2LT.
(Sadly, (comma) a 2009 Windowed HHR had to give it's life for it's interior parts.)
Chevrolet did not offer the rear seat as an option for the panel version of the HHR.
This addition gives the 2 Seater Panel (remove the two commas) Room for 5.
Audio/Video
9" Headrest LCD Monitors were added, so rear seat passengers can watch Movies or Choose from 29 Video Games built into the system. (add a period and start new sentence) they can be listened to with either the sound system or Wireless Headphones.
(Without rear Windows, this keeps the rear seat passengers
Busy & Happy.)
A 7" Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD keeps the front seat passenger happy.
(With a relay modification so video can be displayed while driving, for the passengers viewing pleasure.)
2 Alpine Amps
Pioneer Speakers
And a 12" Pioneer Sub Woofer keeps the owner happy.
The interior doors had a silver strip when stock. I anodized them purple, to match the purple accents throughout.
Paint:
By GM, Black.
Wheels:
Mustang Billet Replicas(no comma) drilled out to fit the 5 110 pattern of the HHR.
Fronts - 17" X 8"
Rears - 17" X 10.5" Deep Dish
(OK, (add comma) I CAN DREAM THESE WILL FIT/WORK CAN'T I? I Will Look into it Further next Spring, (add comma) when I have some extra Cash saved up for Tires and Rims.)
Tires:
Firestone P215/50R17'
Front Calipers and Rear Brake Drums are Anodized Purple.

It technically is Not true anodizing. But it sure does Look like it is.
Greybeard found the stuff and he used the Purple as well. he was kind enough to share all the info with me.
It just so happens, I Love Black and Chrome with the Purple accents as well. and have always planned on a Black car with Lots of chrome an using Purple touches here and there on it.
Seems we have the same taste in car colors. I am going to be using more of it inside, under the hood, and underneath, besides the calipers and brake drums.
Bear in mind this is just a First ROUGH DRAFT.
I typed "4 speed automatic" but need to find out just what transmission it is, things like that.
Spelling Grammer will be worked on. And I am sure things will get trimmed.
Lots of Good input so far.
I have the equipment so I thought I might as well make myself some stuff.
Alot of these show car display cards are hand painted lettered and pinstripped.
With vinyl I can change it as needed and my cost is a few pennies.
Thanks

Lose the stock things that don't need listed like
Transmission:
4 Speed Automatic
Drivetrain:
Front Wheel Drive
Interior: Stock/Customized
Stock Ebony (Black) Interior
ETC
Concentrait on the changed you have made and things that make your car stand out from all other HHR's
I judge a lot of big shows and we only care about the special things. We can see the colors and already know what is FWD and what is not.
Keeping the changed up front it makes us look for the work you put into it not what GM did.
It keeps us a judges more focused. We do not have all day so more to the point helps us.
