Theft....

iPod and GPS stolen out of my HHR last night.... bastards.... middle class suburban new york.... hopefully insurance covers the losses

i don't see any damage at all..... i always click it 'til it beeps when i leave the car though

I know how you feel. I had all the stereo stolen out of my dually in Feb. Headunit, subs, amps, box. I cant stand a thief.

That sucks, sorry to hear.
One reason why I love my apartment is because of the attached 2 car garage.

i think insurance only cover OEM parts on the car if your GPS or ipod wasnt factory installed unless you have declared this items on the policy,,.... thats my car insurance policy........

Two things I never leave in my car, I even wipe off the ring that the Gps leaves behind,

That sucks, I know how you feel.
My old truck was broken into once-passenger key hole smashed.
Wierd thing was, only thing missing was my insurance card.
Two or three weeks later-the whole truck was gone-I think they took the ins card (with the VIN), and had a key made.

The truck turned up about 13 months later-it had been parked in an apartment complex in Philly until someone finally reported it as an abandoned vehicle. When the cops ran the VIN in their system it reported as a stolen vehicle.

If you have a police report your Home Owners insurance will cover it... but beware the deductible.
