Hello Guys,

Just recently bought a 2009 HHR LT and I cannot find a button inside the car to open the trunk.. I have to walk out of the vehicle to open it manually. DO you guys know of any button inside?

If you are speaking of a courtesy trunk release....NO. If you are speaking of an emergency trunk release (used in the event of battery failure)....yes! The protocol is in your Owners Manual AND I have a "how to" with photos, if you do a search.

 

Yeah I was talking about courtesy trunk release...

UR welcome. But your question does "make" for an interesting how to.

The release may not be difficult.....heavier air struts would be needed to automatically lift the the hatch.

to add an avatar you have to be a paying "premium" member which is $10 a year. You get more space in your PM (private mail) box, access to a few members only threads, etc/

 

I'm ONE of the original members of this forum. They allowed us to post an avatar at that time. Now you must be a premium member to have an avatar. The management of this forum migrated and allowed exisiting members to have their avatars before changing to the current rules.
