Dealer did not replace the cover on the collumn. I have droped the collumn down to see what they could have changed, I see nothing. Dealer ssid they put it back together the right way. Sitll something has changed. I have to remove the lower dash cover to get the steering wheel to tilt down as far as I like it. Never had to do that before. It's driving me nuts!

Not sure what to tell you as if the hard points are as GM Mgr said there is only one way to bolt it in.

Check the tilt of you seat as if it is tilted one way to the limit it will limit the other movements.

Let face it the colume could not be moved so it would have to be in the seat adjustment some where.

Not sure what part number they replaced when fixing the switch. Everything looks the same. It's hard to explain my problem to anybody.

The steering wheel will not tilt as far down as it did before, the bottom steering column cover (bottom cover that is around the ingnition switch) now hits the lower dash panel (knee bolster) It used to clear this part and tilt all the way down. I modified the steering column to tilt down more and so it cleared the lower panel. Know it doesn't.

Is there any way the column could be sitting lower instead of away? If it was lower it could come in contact with lower panel quicker then if not.......justa thought
