JB1, If you are getting a 2007, I would think the issues you see here are mostly seen from the "First Year" Production, One of which I proudly Own. The HHR gets looks from all walks of the Age groups. Had a 6 yo come up to me Sat morn and said "You have a cool car, Mister".
The HHR gets good mileage and for the most part is Fun to drive! For our family here we enjoy comparing the "MODS". The Issues really do amount to lots of talk but the number here with the issues is comparativly small, but we all talk about them.
Make your best deal and then snap that picture along side your truck and show us your new HHR!!

And If I may of missed you earlier, Welcome to ChevyHHR.net

All right, I guess Im an offcial member now...we bought a 2007 Black 2LT HHR, with leather, sunroof, polished wheels, running boards, special floor mats, the Pioneer stereo, side airbags, fogs...basically everything. My camera is at work so I dont have pictures just yet, but I will start a new thread in the proper forum in a couple days with pics.

This is my wifes car but I allways take care of the vehicles so plan on seeing me here ALOT asking for advice on things.

Thanks again everyone

Woooo Hoooo...another new HHR in the family. Congrats to you and your wife on your new purchase. We look forward to seeing pictures when you get them done. That makes two 2007's on here now...one Orange and one black...and Halloween is just around the corner.

Congrats on your new purchase! After seeing the pictures of your truck, I'm sure it's only a matter of time before you jump in and start with the mods like the rest of us. There's tons of information here, take advantage of it.

Okay peeps......were going to test drive one this morning at 10am so we'll see, hopefully they will make a deal we can agree on.

The A/C is an easy fix. My parts are on order with the dealership. I have always bought Chevy's... Been a Truck/SUV driver before I was old enough to drive. I traded my 04 Trailblazer in for my HHR because I needed better gas mileage. Really thought I was going to regret it. I must say... I have never been happier with a GM product!

I was afraid to post to this thread because I thought I would jinx myself. My HHR had been running great. Then I started it this morning and it sputtered a little. When I started it after work, the check engine light was on. I guess just reading this was enough. I'm headed to the dealer!
