I have a Feb. 06 HHR 2lt with crome package loated and have only had AC noise which got fixed, fuel pump fixed, water leakage fixed. Love the car! Not really happy with the dealership, but that not the cars falt. The brakes stop great, 10K miles. Paint chipping from road sand, salt, snow can happen on any car, when I had my 01 Hyndia Santa Fe it did the same thing when I drove in the snow with sand sprared on the road. All in all, we love the car!

Congrats, don't think you'll regret your choice.... Now I have a friend of mine that is looking at buying one, all he really requires is ABS.... He really likes mine, soo they do sell on looks as well.... Nice ride, yours is loaded like mine, great options the F-3 suspension is great.

I was one of the posters that had interior water leak issues. The dealership fixed it after 3 trips. they really wouldn't tell me what the problem was. I think it was simple and they were embarrassed to admit it was a minor problem that they should have found the first try. I'll have over 50,000 miles on it after I get back from Colorado next week and have no other problems. I think it's a pretty sound vehicle for right out of the box. Most "new" vehicles have some issues at first. Curious, what other cars are you considering besides the H?

Good choice, sounds like you loaded your black un up like I did. Check out my link for a few mods I have managed to add over the 3 weeks and 1500km (Canada ya know) that I have been enjoying the car! Good luck with yours! From the pics of your truck you'll have some fun!

I called the dealer today and was told I couldn't bring it in for 2 weeks. This is the same dealer who wanted to sell me a 2year $1300 extended warranty and told me I should get all my regular maintenance done at their dealership. Not good!

got mine last November.....have done 13000 kilometres.....no problems....only issue is not having running boards which allows paint damage at lower rear door....dealer is adding and painting HHR on warranty....does great in snow....for the price, it is a good investment

I went back and read the owner's manual. They consider a non-blinking check engine light as no big deal, maybe bad gas. That's why the dealer did not rush to get me in. I went to Auto Zone and they hooked up a code reader. I found out it was an O2 sensor. That same night the light went out.

I just plan to watch it closely. I've had O2 sensors go bad on my van. It's not fun when your car stalls in the middle of a left turn with traffic coming at you! I think the weather down here makes them fail more frequently.

For my first new car ever I think I picked a winner. A 1LT auto that gets 30+ MPG and has not had any of the problems that are talked about except the outside mirror wind noise. Have 2500 miles in the first month and really enjoy tooling along the highways and byways of upstate NY. This is an excellent car for the price and I could not be happier.

Good Luck in your choice and we hope you decide on an HHR
