Yes, THANK YOU! (Wish my dealer would have said something, or OnStar). Oh well, at least there's a FIX. "SS" Mike

There's a TSB on the A/C noise. Take it to your dealership and they'll replace some lines and the noise will go away. Mine did.

Do some of you have a problem starting?

Sometimes we go to start it and its just nothing, the headlights come on and dash lights...but it doesnt even crank. We then try a couple more times and it finally cranks.....WTF?

I purchased mine 2LT on Feb 18 2006 and I never had any problems at all.
I have 21,789 miles on my HHR as of Today and Chevy has replaced my 2 front Rotors they were shot. I have had no problems and I am very happy with mine, I guess what I am trying to say is If you purchase one them you & your wife will only know if its for you. I don't know any one in the Mid-West Central region who wished they never purchased theirs. All I know is that every one I have met Loves theirs and I know at least 25 HHR owners mine was made in the month of Oct 2005 and like I said I purchased mine on Feb 2006, Good luck with yours if you purchase one but deep down in side I know you wil love yours also.

fun car
very functional
good mile age
five star chrash rating
bargin price
lot and lots of options
fall edtion is just coming out
the silent majority are not having that many problems... many of which can be solve by reading.

currently coming up on 2 months 3000 miles only one self inficted problem... EPS fuse blew when i killled the battery and a helping hand incorrectly connected the jump pack.

i have talked to several hhr owners personally... complaints = zero

That might be an issue with the security chip in your key. The key has a transponder in the key head that matches a decoder in the vehicle’s steering column. Next time it happens, try your spare key. If it works, take your key to the dealer and have it "reset". The chip is in the key where the plus sign is stamped.

It happens with my wifes key or my key...guess they both could be bad..I dunno.

Only other problem is theres a BAD rattle in the dash somewhere, sounds like behind the radio center area.

Gonna take it into the dealer next week for both these problems.

All right the HHR's in the shop for the rattle. The service writer explained to us that we have to press unlock everytime before trying to start the car, even if its unlocked. My wife tried this and it seems to work....sounds fishy to me.
