Was thinking of trading my HHR in....

last summer I went to trade in my 2006 2LT with EVERY option except leather, and with 70k miles on it.
4 different dealers
none offered me more than $6500 for it. One of them had the exact car i wanted...a hard car for them to sell, and it was CHEAP...all they had to do was take my $4500 cash, pay me $7000 for my HHR, and pay off my negative equity, and I would have left in the car they were selling...but they couldn't/wouldn't
I owe $10k, so needless to say, it's parked out front still.
great car, but when the rent-a-car companies turned all the used HHR's loose on the market, our values dropped like the stock market last fall.
If I could find a dealer that would take it for what they offered me last summer, now that I owe less, I probably would.

The goverment runs all Japan's auto makers. The labor they use here is due to trade agreements and cost to ship here. Honda is a very good auto as my father has ran 3 for over 150000 miles with very few problems. But you do pay for them up front. He just bought a CRV and paid $15000.00 with 55000 miles on it. Honda's do rattle after you have a few miles on them also. My 2006 HHR has 49000 and was wrecked with $6500.00 worth of work and it still rides smooth some rattles and only been in 2 times for service issues. Also why not let the banks fail if you think the auto industry should not get a bailout. That way the smaller banks can move up the chain.

Sounds like Mr. Frog couldn't really afford to keep his HHR. I mean, if you're really THAT scared of the sunroof breaking because you don't have the money to fix it, by all means, buy a car that's going to cost TWICE as much to repair when something does go wrong.
He was a troll from the beginning and should have been banned a long time ago. I'd actually like to find his HHR and buy it just so I could put another 100,000 on it. Poor thing was never driven with only 26,000 on it.
