That along with my 17" wheels make me that much closer to a 2LT...get my running boards and spoiler and I'll be all set..

love the sunroof...my last car (96 Riviera, supercharged) had one, now I can't live without it

My complaint about the sun roof is:
...when traveling at a quick clip, the noise of the air deflection over the wind screen is more than I prefer. I think a different style wind deflector would reduce that noise. I just haven't bought one yet.
My sunroof is limo tinted like my other rear windows. When the sunroof is open.... I rather enjoy the suns warmth on my skin when it's a bright sun shinny day out!

No regrets, I like it and if I diden't have it, I'd be wishing I did!

The only thing I can think of that's a negative at all is if you are tall. My head hits the headliner b/c it comes down that much further w/ the sunroof. I'm 6'0", and my buddy is 6'4". He can't even sit in the front seat! That's why it's the wifes car and I have a Crew Cab Chevy, 95 Impala SS, 95 RM wagon, and suprisingly a few Fieros. He even fits in that!, but the HHR w/ a sunroof. NOPE.

I am going to pull the seat in the spring and see if I can modify the mounting and see if the power seat will go lower.

No problems with my roof. Didn't really want one but the car had every thing else I wanted. Glad i got it. As for aftermarket make sure you get a Webasto or ASC. And get a good installer with lots of expeirence.. I've done a bunch (install sunroofs) and still would not cut a hole in my roof. jmo

Have the sun-roof and love it. Use it everyday...of course where I live, that is possible.

Had a problem just after delivery, with binding and clunking. Dealer had....well that story has already been told.
Still love it and use it.

First vehicle I've owned with a sunroof. Has it's good and bad points. Head room is a problem somewhat, as I'm 6'1", the noise is bad at road speed with the deflector, the sun is rather warm in the summer with the headliner cover open, glass shut, and seems colder to me in the winter when opened, but while parked in the summer, keeps the inside cool and is nice at low speeds running around town. At night is where it really is nice to have one, looking at the stars is really relaxing, as long as I don't drive and look at the same time.LOL Soo far, no leaks. That has been my biggest objection to buying one with a sunroof. I worked at a dealer and seems they all eventually leak. They have improved the sunroofs over the years, and hope I have no problems with mine. I guess as long as I take care of it, shouldn't have a problem. When I bought this vehicle, all of the ones this dealer had were with sunroofs, this year only a couple have sunroofs, none have the running boards.

Sunroof was a must...I used to have convertable before the HHR, so I need that slight effect of the wind blowing through my face, with the sunroof and all windows wide open!

I do have an ocassional squeak as the sunroof is closing, but it does not bug me enough to get it fixed. Besides, it is winter time and rarely open it anyways.

Glad I got this option!

well you guys sure answered any doubts I had about ordering mine with a sunroof. When I test drove one it sure seemed like a nice feature.
