So you actually have to touch the front wall?

it doesnt touch but there is only about an inch in front and 2-3 inches in the back. it will be a pain but i dont drive it everyday so i dont mind. plus im painting it soon so it will have to stay inside. the wifes car gets the roomy side. ill get some pics of the dinning room.

Lengthwise, no problem but vertical clearance is a bit tight

Why don't you cut a hole in the dining room wall and use the front end of the hhr as a buffet!!??

Ha ha...we had that same problem at our house with my mom's 2000-2003 Silverado's! Our garage was built in 1950, so it was a tad small to begin with... We had to cut a hole in the back so the front bumper would stick out!!!

(We knocked that useless thing down and now we have a garage literally the size of our house!! Oh, but our house is small... )
