summer fun,!!!!!

thanxs for the info and input, on some great ideas and looks, i,m just going to wing it with how it works out i think i know what look i want but it may change, was thinking of moving up the rear qtr window section and making a small qtr window and giving it a truck look with a built in bed cover thats all smooth, and rounded out but the the phantom look is very cool, need to get a rear axle in it get a brake and lamp inspection, get it re registerd,so i can drive it as we go,not sure about the front window post yet was thinking of a open glass top and pulling a few inches out of it but that would make doing a top tough, heres a pic of what it was before pulling it apart, also a grey one i got but it to bad so its a parts car for this one and others, talk again dave!!!!

An HHR Ute would be pretty cool too.

That's an Aussie model Commodore Ute SS with 360hp. Underpowered isn't one of it's problems! Ugly, maybe (you should see the lime green version!), but underpowered?

That would be a nice ride.

Re: Holden Commodore: it's too bad we can't get the Aussie GM offerings here. They make some nice stuff, and underpowered is NOT a word I'd use to describe their vehicles.

wow, the HHR SUT idea looks really cool! i guess with a starting platform like this, your options really are endless.

oh, side note on the Ute, that is no Holden. look at the headlights, the Commodore never had the double bubble thing going on, that is an Australian Ford Falcon Ute. i LOVE Commodores, and wish i could afford to bring a real one stateside (2001 Commodore SS VT II 6-spd...:drools:)...just wanted to clear the air. calling that a Commodore would be like calling a Camaro a Mustang, those two Utes are big time rivals over there.
