Sigh - there is no timing belt - it has a chain.

Sorry - second reference today to "timing belt". Me bad.

There is no specified maintenance for the timing chain, however a few owners with high mileage have had problems with the tensioners and chain guides. A kit is available to replace the tensioners and guides from your GM dealer - if you have "high mileage" give your dealer a call for a quote.

Gotta love the Studdys -
I had an aunt and uncle that had matching Silver Hawks in Toronto, and a friend had a Super Hawk that was spectacular in red.

We had a "which is the front" Studebaker in the 50's.
