Why? From the manual:

Tires need the correct amount of air pressure to operate
effectively.

Yep, chances of being asked to produce oil receipts in the event of an internal engine problem are very small. If you throw a rod through the pan in warranty you will IAL get it fixed "no questions asked" unless you leave your drag strip ET's on the seat
