Can't help you with those specifically - check tirerack for reviews.
But, based on your location, check out Creamery Tire, and give them a call-they have the best prices in our area...

ok , thanx - direct tire has en for 93 each - then you take off the 70 , also free shipping - i have a guy at a local gargae who will put em after hours for a case of beer - so basicly im paying 75.50 each - i figure the beer should be about 25$ , so i will still be ahead - the local tire place wantee 106 each w/o rebate - so you can only get the 70 back if you buy from tires direct

Derf, buying tires by price alone can make for a rocky long-term relationship. I don't have any experience with those, but after much research and first hand info, I bought the Kumho Solus KH16 tires. I wanted better ride and noise isolation than the Firestones. I love the Kumhos now that I have them. Excellent tire all the way around, and seems to be great in the poring rain too (our cars can hydroplane). The fellow how bought the Firestones I took off likes them however, so there are varying preferences. Once you buy tires, you are stuck with them for a long time, like or hate. I hope this helps. God Bless, Marc

I just put new tires on my 06 HHR after 53600 miles. I looked at Khumos, but settled on Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max. 65000 mile tread life, good in water and quiet ride. It was one of the few US made tire. ~$600 for a set of four installed balanced etc. Too much $$. I've hade the T/As on other cars and they were fine.

Well if we're recommending tires, check out the General Altimax HPs-they have good reviews on tirerack, and they are pretty reasonable price.

I only have about 1200 miles on mine so far, but I like them. Still waiting to see their snow performance.

I have them on mine and like them. At the time I bought mine, directtire had a good deal on them. But like everyone else saz, check the reviews and decide for yourself

You also might want to buy soon as tire prices will go up with most of the companies soon. The new tariff on imported tires and the rise in raw material cost will it most companies for a 6% or better increase in prices by January.

As the the traction TA you get what you pay for.

Check the prices at tirerack. Read the reviews. Toss out the best and the worst reviews and you will get some idea what to expect with what is left.

For a few extra bucks I would recommend the Goodyear Assurance Tripletred. I posted a brief review of them in another thread a few days ago.

I was going to have a set of Traction T/A's put on my mom's Impala last month but the guy at Costco recommended the Michelin X-radials instead. He said a lot of people weren't really happy with the T/A's even though they are pretty well reviewed on TireRack. The X-radials were about the same price as the T/A's at Costco.
