It's all up to you. If you enjoy the retro look go with the HHR. If you want a G6 for that modern look. Then choose what you think is best. However keep in mind that this being an HHR Website a majority of our members will say choose the HHR over another type of car. Plus also talk about past cars owned or current car projects.

All I know is what the registration says. I think it all depends on model and options. Adding more stuff is going to add more weight.

I have the 2.4 and get 28-30 MPG, with a mix of highway and city driving. Drive conservantly (low RPMS) to achieve this routinely. I have been real pleased with MPG performance, before this had S10 with 6.

Call it a Wacky Wagon, before calling it a PT, HA!!!

I love the old car look, and very roomy inside, and still can take people out, cool car.

I don't even know what the G6 is, I just knew I wanted the HHR, to make a modern Chevy Street Rod, I can enjoy, now.

Agreed. I guess I was being to critical. Sometimes I get too defensive whenever someone mentions HHR and wagon in the same breath. I argue that it is a truck or small SUV. I took the use of wacky the wrong way also. Sorry!

better be! j/k

though GM somehow justified that it's a truck, the fact that it's not on a truck frame negates that fact. i don't even consider SUVs like the Rav4 or the lexus SUV to be trucks as they're based on car a chassis like the HHR. though it's a hell of a lot more economical than any SUV i'm aware of (those "green" SUV hybrids are NOT economical when you consider cost to own...)

funny as it may sound, the Chevy tracker (do they even make them) and suzuki variant are some real trucks, regardless of how they look. forgive me for being so literal...

I agree it's not truly a truck. I just don't want to feel like I'm an old man driving a station wagon. I had to trade in my Mustang for a family car .......wait I mean truck.
