Towing and Trailers

Is anyone towing with their HHR? I'd like to hookup some sort of trailer, maybe even a teardrop, or I had a wild idea that the wife really loved, taking another HHR and cutting it in half and making the rear end a trailer, like an HHR tear drop of sorts.

Just got back Sunday from towing my Z750 motorcycle (probably 800-900 lbs between trailer and bike) from Chicago to NC and back. The HHR did fine, and I got 21MPG average through terrible winds, mountains, and with the A/C cranked up.

Look in your manual

Just states " not recommended" I'm sure they have the power to do the job...mine would, but I'm taking it to Hawaii with me so not really any need to pull anything.
