Tpms…?
2011 hhr, 2.2 lt….Ok, Im in an on going battle with this TPMS. …so I bern getting these ebay cheapy sensors….and this tpms light is bugging me…lol. So had all learned and no light for couple months, now got light again…left rear wasnt reading…bought replacement….so before changing it, decided to see if ststem was reading the others. Now right front not reading…
So is it the sensors or is it the tpms in the car? And whats good way to test?

Rotate the tires, do a relearn, if it works great, if not it could be the system. Watch for which corner you move the tires to. Did the one that didn’t work over there not work at where you moved it?

After I bought the car I replaced all the sensors with ebay cheapy ones…no idea how long been on shelf but they all worked after the relearn via fob / car method. Got about 2 months then got light again….left rear wasnt working….ordered another one….couple weeks went by, got it in mail….about to put it in….decided to check make sure still just left rear not reading….started process…left front read…right front would not.
So….Im wondering weak batteries in sensors or tpms in car issue. Also wondering where the tpms reciever is in the car? Does it use radio and antenna in the car? Radio reception isnt that great…..if so, could it be it is prematurely draining the sensor batteries? Really like to know exactly how it works.
thanks

The receiver is the same as the RVS and door locks, called RCDLR located under the bump in the headliner near the mirror. Tiny printed circuit antenna.
Do you happen to have transmitting equipment in or around the car; like cell phones, ham radio, CB radio, wireless phones, wireless network, garage door openers, Bluetooth devices etc? They all use the same frequency.
