I was wondering does anyone have one of these and what do you think of it?

It is not a prism. Having said that, they do work well.

It's a Fresnel (sp?) lens.
I am 6'3" and got tired of having to bob my head down to see lights in the low windshield of the HHR. I put one of these things on my windshield and never had the problem again. They work great!! The 1st week or so takes a little getting used to, but once you learn to trust it, you will love it.
The best part is that installation is simple. just spray a little water on it and stick it on. If you decide yo remove it just peel it off. It sticks sort of like those labels from the quick oil change places.

A lot of hotrod guys use them on cars with chopped tops. They have been around since the 50's. JC whitney sold them

Yes!

I have it and it should be standard equipment. I swear by it, it's completely effective.

The prisms were very popular in the 40's as well. Sun visors were pretty common and they were the cure. My 1950 Buick Sedanette had one from the factory. Now if that sucker had only had a hill holder....
