No way!!!

My fiance is starting to have the EXACT same problem with her 2006 HHR 2LT but has over 38k miles on it. Unfortunately, it occurs randomly when she is leaving from a stop. Her's also wants to jump or feels like a jolt. It may do it a couple times when she is driving then goes away for a week and them randomly comes back. It also sometimes triggers the "check engine" light then goes off. The "check engine" light never stays on long enough to get the code read.

I had a similar problem with a Ford pick-up truck I use to own and it was an issue with the tcc solenoid inside the transmission like Lone Ranger said. A transmission shop replaced it for about $200 and resolved the problem.
