TrueDelta Vehicle Reliability Survey results - Chevrolet HHR

The latest TrueDelta Vehicle Reliability Survey results have been posted. These are for the year ending September 30, 2007. Late responses could lead to further changes, but these are unlikely to be large.

For the 2006 Chevrolet HHR, I have an average of 8.3 months of data on 31 cars. The stat of 79 successful repair trips per 100 vehicles per year (0.8 per vehicle) is about average for a 2006 model.

Everyone who has been helping out with this research, thanks. Those who aren't yet helping out, please consider doing so. I'd like to also provide information on the 2007 and (soon) 2008, but haven't had enough owners sign up.

I have no clue how to read those numbers. Is fewest good or bad? Fewest successful trips....? Hmmm,

Fewest service trips would be good. The most successful trips would be good....Hmmm

Thanks for the feedback, it's hard to tell how people read what I write without it.

Fewer = better.

If I also posted a % successful stat, then higher would be better. Something I'll probably do in the future, but it'll require larger sample sizes.

The temp bar makes sense. Green being good and Red being bad. No one ever wants to see Red unless it is the car color.

I added those bars based on some earlier feedback. And then at first they were labeled "best" and "worst," but that was including a value judgment, suggesting that a car was a bad car if it had a relatively high repair rate. So I changed the labels to "most" and "fewest." They also used to have "fewest" on the right.

I keep trying to make the site clear, but still not there yet.

And Kingfrog could be red-green color blind. Many men are.
