The "twins"

Hi everyone.
Haven't been on here for a while, but finally got around to shooting some pics of the HHR and SSR together. Here are a couple for fun.. One of the reasons I got the HHR originally was its similarity to the SSR. Although the SSR is much faster , the HHR has been more practical .

Basically my HHR as discussed in other threads here has been slightly modified.. Chrome trim, wood dash, chipped, etc.
The SSR has also been modified; Tuned , 4:56 gears, suspension upgrades, wood dash, and some other "stuff"

I happened to take a similar photo the other day at the hardware store. Wish they were both mine

What a great pair! Now all you need is a Dodge Prowler.

Nice pair, a black SS would keep up with the truck.

Not likely, but I DO wish I had traded Inspector in for an SS a couple of years ago like I wanted to. Thought the Stage 1 would be kinda fun... The 2L LT now has 70000KM on it (2.4L) and still NO issues at all (touch wood).

BTW the SSR is dyno'd now at 520HP and although heavy (4700 lbs) the 4:56 really gets 'im moving. Haven't (and probably won't take it to the track here) but I am guessing 4.7-5.3 - 0 - 60 time .... surprises a lot of folks...
