TWM shift kit

Hey can anyone who has the TWM short throw shift kit tell me if the top is threaded so you can swap out shift knobs. I'm not entirely sold on the swap and I'm not sure if chevy will honor the warranty with aftermarket mods that in any way affect the powertrain. TWM seems to have the only short throw shift kit available and their shift knobs are weak but if its threaded I could drill and tap whatever I want for a shift knob just thought I'd see if anyone here had any experience with these kits.

Yes, TWM short shifters have a threaded portion for the knob to attach.

The thread is some metric size I have been unable to locate in my area. If anyone knows what it is please let me know.
I also have a MOMO knob I wanted to try, but because they slide on and tighten with 3 allen screws at the bottom which damage the threads.

The Momo will work great with the stock HHR shifter though.

I for the life of me don't understand your comment that TWM knobs are weak!! They are very innovative and height adjustable. Only flaw for me is they get cold in the winter and TWM doesn't sell leather covers.

Not weak structurally, I'm just not a big fan of the design.
