One thing I never travel without is Cottonelle wipes. You never know until its too late if the public bathrooms along the way are clean.

Just do not drive if you get too tired.

Just be careful and do not drive if you get too tired. I have drove 24 hours non stop several times and it is brutal but I had help.
I have made several trips 18 hours non stop by myself. Take plenty of snacks and drinks. A emergency kit is always a good thing to have. I keep several quarts of oil in my car, some towels, a jacket, paper towels, pens and paper, cell phone.
I would definatly leave early enough so that you reach your destination before it gets dark. It is soo much easier to drive 4 hours in the dark at the start of your trip than at the end.
Just go and have fun, enjoy the sights and be careful. Curly

HI I SAW YOU LEAVING KROGER PARKING LOT.
and he is making me and his sister drive -_-.. and we bought like 40$ of snacks.
You car is prettier when you're driving it rather then sitting in your driveway (that's the only time i've seen it) ha ha

ya ill be takin "emergency kit" .. toilet paper, blanket, minor tools, cell phone, bottled water..
and between the 3 of us. i think we can handle 13 hours of driving, thats like 4 hours each basically. ill drive the first 5 hours straight to little rock i hope, then start switchin every 2 hours or so..

When you're in TN a lot of highways are cut into the mountains, and the streams are still active. If the weather is cold enough you will see amazing ice formations on the rock walls!

Since you've never been on snow/ice be very careful if you find any. Pump the brakes gently, don't step on them or your nose will go in the direction you just came from! Skate safe!

(If you blow by your exit in TN Indy isn't too far away!)
