Yup. I put one on my 86 Mitsubshi truck many moons ago. No suction cup on the GM version, just a magnet, which I found to be more than adequate.

Weird, in looking at the ebay site, I see no mention of a magnet...says screws on to fender! Am I missing sumptin?

 

They don't mention a magnet, but there is one mounted on the bottom of the light so you can stick the bulb anywhere. The suction cup is mounted on the side....But in order to mount the housing you have to screw it to something like your fender, hood, core support, or any other location you may desire............Regards

 

Thanks for the reminder! I still have the one from my 1994 Suburban sitting in a box in the workshop. I had forgotten about it. Now I can install it in the HHR.
