Unexpected Message In The DIC
I went out for a drive this morning - the ambient temperature was 37 degrees F and there was a very light drizzle occurring, About a mile from home I happened to look at the DIC and I saw the message: "Ice Possible".
I have the base model LS - there is no traction control that I know of, nor does this model have ABS. Maybe the was a bit of wheel slip that I did not notice - I was moving very slowly. That, and the air temperature somewhat close to freezing, caused the DIC to display the message, maybe?
A very thoughtful safety reminder, in my opinion.

The message "Ice possible" pops up when outside temp goes to 37 degrees F or when you start the car and it is 37 or below. It was cool feature until novelty wore off now it is capt obivious message.
