Lotus didn't design the original Ecotec. GM's Advanced Product Engineering did that. Lotus WAS responsible for the multi-valve train. But your statement still stands.

LOL!!, I just had an awesome thought!, If Wheelie was born in mexico, That means he can understand and honk in SPANISH!, My little buddy is Bilingual!! Thats awesome because My family comes from Guatemala, and I speak spanish too, Wheelie can understand me!!! QUE BIEN!!

Oh , and as for the Chevy song??, I told wheelie that his ancestors who were trucks had a theme song that Chevy used called LIKE A ROCK by Bob Seger, Wheelie got excited and wanted to hear it, he considers himself a cute ute, so he says he qualifies as a truck..LOL, well anyway, I bought that song for Wheelie and He loves it, he loves that part where Mr Seger goes LIKE A ROCK...OOOHHHHHH LIKE A ROCK!!!, (Guitar playing) LOL!!

Is it sad that I'm 20, and know this song as well as Dinah Shore?

Nope, not at all. I burned an MP3 CD this morning for my trip, and have some old trucking songs from the 30's and 40's included in the mix.
