Update on my HHR
Hello all,
It has been some time since I last posted anything. I still am enjoying my orange 08 2LT HHR with the 2.4 automatic. I have had it nearly 2 years, and have almost 7,000 miles on it now. Just a short trip back and forth to work, and some weekend use, so it is pretty low mileage. Absolutely no problems at all though, and it continues to turn in 27mpg around town, and over 30 on the occassional road trip. I did add a hitch on the back to attach my bike rack, making it a very versatile little car. This is my first new Chevy ever, and I am impressed. It has actually been more reliable than my wife's 2006Honda CRV-which left us stranded on the highway when the ECM for the transmission just up and died. I love the HHR's electronic readouts for MPG, instant MPG, tire pressure, etc. Very handy, plus the compass in the mirror is a nice touch when traveling. Overall, a very pleasant little car for commuting and general use. I still have my Mustang GT for sporty driving, and a truck for heavy stuff, but usually end up driving the HHR most of the time.
Thanks for all the links, I do go in and read other's posts and comparisons to other vehicles. The one weak point of the HHR is the rapid depreciation, and maybe the hard plastics on the interior, but again, I am very satified with the car.
Thanks again for a great forum.

Thanks for the replies! I had heard rumors that Chevy was cancelling the HHR, but haven't seen why. It seems they are popular, I see lots of them around, and with good MPG and the versatility, it seems like a natural choice for many. I also drove an SS model a couple of weeks ago. WOW! Kind of wish I had gone that way now, but will hang on to mine for now.
