Update on work performed

If you all remember, I took delivery of my new 2007 2LT on 12/14/07. I wrote about what the dealer was going to do, because of brake vibration, sunroof "ticking" sound, bird droppings on car and Popping sound when rear tailgate is opened.

I just spoke with the dealer and here is what they have done:

1) Replaced front rotors and pads with brand new ones.
2) Could not replicate rattleing sound from rear sun roof - velcro area. They are going to try again tomorrow.
3) They "wet sanded" the bird droppings and buffed the areas.
4) Installing new tailgate pistons tomorrow morning.

They gave me a free Enterprise rental while they have been doing the work.

Will have rear sway bar installed this Saturday at TrickTrucks, Frederick, MD.

Scripts have yet to arrive; front grill now has "CHEVROLET" black letters and the rear chrome tail light covers are installed. (I did that myself Christams night.)

That's it for now. I sincerely hope they can hear and then fix the roof ticking where the velcro attaches to the headliner - it drives me crazy!

Peace,

Good idea. Just did it. And they called me this evening and they are going to drive the HHR to my home (49 miles away) and pick up the rental. Now THAT really is service!
