You will get hosed on the trade in, but you should make some of that back up on the new SS incentives, but not near all of it.
I traded an 07 Fall Limited Edition less than a year old on my 08 SS and I am still smiling

Yes, Right now Currently they have a 3k Rebate. Another option i have is to trade in my Fiancee's car which we owe less on. However it could end up being the same deal since its older with more mile's on it.

Only other concern i have is Winter's in Chicago. I would buy Snow Tire's the day after i took it home.

We will see, plus i still have to talk to her about it. Considering the wedding is in Sept.

I gotta work some magic, maybe i'll go with the overpriced Photograhper that she LOVES in return i get a SS.

They will not give you a good deal on a trade in. Depending on how much you financed, you may even be upside down. If you get a low price on the SS, then expect no more than low book value on yours (if lucky to get that).

Guess it just depends on how bad you want to do this.

As far as I know, it's only a $1K rebate, and another $1K for owner loyalty. Where did you see $3K rebate?

I'm 99% sure you can't. If you have a GM card, they are offering an additional $2K top-off, at least for many cardholders. Total 4K off for me. It's tempting.
