Used HHRs

I was curious whether anyone on this site has purchased a used HHR. I know there was a previous post questioning why someone would get rid of one so soon. My guess is it was a rental car or dealer test car.

I'm wondering about pricing levels for used HHRs. I saw one the same color and less options as mine on the same dealer's lot for $1,000 less than what I paid new. Actually, it was only $300 less when you consider my internet discount. It had almost 18,000 miles on it.

I sure hope Chevy doesn't flood the market with HHRs so that the resale value stays high. Of course, how many of us intend to sell our HHR?

OK...PNOY...spill your guts...enquiring minds want to know why you're gonna sell your HHR. Or...are you going to buy another used one so you have two?

deb,

I will actually need a bigger vehicle (truck) for a business venture that I'm starting up. Unfortunately the HHR just wont be able to handle the load, etc. Didnt want to part with it but I can only own one car.

Wow...that's a bummer that you have to part with your HHR...but understand why. Some very lucky person is going to have a very cool HHR when they get yours.

Please be sure to keep us updated on what's going on.

I bought my HHR used in April 2006 it had 13000 miles on it. It was a rental VERY good condition looked like it rolled out of the fatory to the showroom floor then my home lol. Well the HHR is WELL used it now has 29000 on it yes i drive that puppy lol. I own my own business that i need it to do estimates and alot of runnin around :) need to slow down a bit :) but i buy vehicles to drive them not let them sit. Who cares what its worth at trade in as long as i got my use out of it.

I'll inform peeps here when I'm ready to sell. I should be putting my car up for sale by October. I'm leaving everything in there intact, including the original parts I replaced.

Here in central FL. at last count there was 47 used HHR for sale most X rentals. Very large rental fleet here for mickey's friends most are LS but some 1LT 7-9 months old with 14-18k miles. mostly at just car lots, not dealers. some are asking more then the sticker of a new 07 LS ! I look up a vin. for one in a lot the sticker was $16,880 , there sticker was $18,995. with15,000 miles. when I showed the print out he said his had more opt. like p/w p/L a/t ya right like they don;t all come with that stuff. then I pulled out the carfax report saying it was a rental and he said i just made all this on my comp. to try to get a lower price ! ! ! I just LOL and left .
