Useful versitile HHR

Today I had to transport a seven foot ladder. What other compact vehicle could accomidate a seven foot ladder inside with all doors and windows closed. I continue to be impressed at how easily and well the HHR transports people and stuff.

I've moved 8ft two by fours many times, just drop the front passenger seats and they slide right in. One thing I was impressed when I bought was the interior room for hauling things

Isn't a Suburban always overkill ?
Maybe that's just for me

Not when I had at home 5 kids + dogs. Take a trip and you need luggage room also. Or when I had a 23' boat to tow.

It wasn't overkill when gas was a buck a gallon
Neither was my Excursion... Boy am I glad I don't have either of those now!

I fit a 9' Kayak in my HHR with the hatch closed! folded the passenger seat and had it against the windsheild, but it fit
