V8 HHR Build

I like shiny things so I'd go for the highest sheen I could get.
What can I say, I'm old, and really liked the look of the old Buick's and Pontiac's with their huge chrome grills back in the day.

Well as I continue on with the drive train the custom length drive shaft is in and now I'm working on the torque arm. Of course I can't buy one already made, no that would be too easy. Mine needs to be 9" longer than stock length. I am modeling my arm after a BMR torque arm, I like their design. Only trouble is it is going to hit the upper area of the trans/drive shaft hump. At least I'm glad I haven't done that area yet so I don't need to tear anything out. I'm posting a picture of the area in question.
Now I have all the exterior body parts mounted and it looks like a complete car if you don't look too closely. The right side exhaust cut out is perfect and looks factory. The hood louvers came out good as well.

I love everything about this HHR. Back in the late 1950s early 1960s we put Buick V-8s in Ford and Chevy coupes. If I were younger and richer I would install a Buick blown 3800 in an HHR (Panel preferred)
