Damn!

I know that a lot of the country is dealing with colder than ever temperatures and snow drifts coming in your front doors, and California is basking in 80 degree heat....... But along with the heat we have Santa Ana winds. I had a piece of wood (a fence board 3/4" x 6" x 6' ) leaning against the garage that blew over in the wind and the edge of the board put a 3" crease in the hood of the car. I have a friend that does paintless dent removal and I'm sure he can fix it. It just ticks me off being so dumb to leave that board there to blow over. And no, I'm not going to post a picture of it 'cause I don't want to look at it.

With that beautiful V8 under the hood I think you should just fabricate a clear polycarbonate hood as a replacement!!!!!!

Years ago I had just bought my first (and only) brand-new car and had a small curbside recycling bin stacked on top of the garbage bin nearby. Wind blew it off and into the front fender. Car wasn't six months old. I feel your pain.

Tally

Have you been keeping a total on all of the cash you have put into this? I would be interested to see a final dollar figure when you are finished.

Not just no, but Hell No. There are things in life you don't want to know the answer to , and this is one of them.
