I also totally LOVE the Saturn Sky! Way nicer then the Solstice IMHO.
Thanks for the compliments. I just am the wiring guy on this one though. All the other genius is Cliff!
Oh, if you ever want that Sorento to have an engine upgrade... let me know. It is WAY easier then you think that is... If it's a pre-2010.

Change 1 Thing, Effect 10 Others
Anyone who has ever built a hot rod knows that if you change anything, it effects a bunch of other things. This is true with replacing the rear end with a Currie 9". The fuel tank now rubs so a new one was built. Hot Rod City Garage in San Bernardino Ca did a really professional job. It's got a big notch in it for the 3rd member. It only holds 14 gallons but that will be fine.

Working on a few different things at once on the car. Also discussed and resolved some issues on the HHR with Cliff.
Here is the wiring harness. Just have to duct tape it to the intake and it's done... ;-) :-D

Rear Axle Brackets
Today the welding of the 7 brackets to the rear axle housing was completed. Tomorrow I'll take it to Currie and have them put it on their straightening fixture and massage the heat warp out of it. These guys are pros of making the housing absolutely straight. There was a ton of welding done on this thing.

Rear Axle Back From Currie
Currie made quick work of getting the warpage out of the axle housing. It's back now and next step is to paint it. It's coming along nicely. Should be able to handle anything I give it. Here's a close up of the brackets welded on and it's relation to the fuel tank. I can't wait to put my foot in this thing. I work for an auto group and I have the tire guys setting aside slightly used tires in the correct size for me to smoke. My rear tires are 275/55/17 a stock size for a MBZ suv. We do lots of them.
