My first car was a 66' Nova, 327ci, Carter 650 cfm, Edelbroch manifold, Powerglide, vet rally rims, z28 cowel hood, subframe, 6 point rollcage, 2.25" dual exhaust. Total it and sold the parts. The motor and trans was sold and put into a vega. My new chevy is a 65 el camino with a 350ci, Edelbroch manifold, 700r4 trans, Hedman headers

Me too!!! First car I purchased was a black 76 Vega GT. Had a nice white stripe down the rocker panels and over the wheel wells also the area between the tail lights was white also. Black interior and a 4 speed with a Hurst shifter. Changed the stock wheels for some gold Shelby bbs style with comp T/A,s. Man would that thing hook up around a corner. I still wish I had kept that car. Was planning to put a buick v6 in it and got the new car bug. So off I went and came home with a loaded 2 door Eurosport. Loved that car also. Soon after I had traded it in the lady smacked the rear of a truck and bent the front up real good. I wanted to smack her for hurting my old car.

Still got mine
I still have my Vega GT. Added another 4 cylinders and some chassis work but its more or less stock. If your really bored you can check out a few old videos of it at BIR running 10.2 @ 130mph. Someday I'll have videos of the HHR running in the 9's
