I've had them on a 2001 Ranger and a 2002 Trailblazer with no issues and I am planning on the in channel ones for my HHR as well. I don't like the looks of the tape on the outside ones either.

So I ordered the vent shades from SoCal HHR's and they got in yesterday. You guys were right the in channel ones are better looking and alot easier to install. Thanks to everyone for that helped me make the right decision.

Thanks for the pictures.

Where did you get the WeatherTech Vents and the ones pn the back windows. How do they attach at the back side where the window does not roll down.

Thanks John

Yes I would also like to know. The site from Weather Vent site, that I am looking only shows the back only part way.
Thanks

Thanks John

Got them at the WeatherTech website. Just went to look again at the site and did notice that the picture is misleading. They must use a generic picture but I did order the ones that are listed for the HHR (got the dark ones! ). I am very happy with the quality of the vents and they were pretty easy to put in,the rears go in by slipping the front part in first then the rear part just gets wedged between the glass and rubber. Hope this helps. Aloha!!

P.S. Sorry it took me a while to reply....went camping at the beach this past weekend...it was BEAUTIFUL!!

I have the inchannels on my dakota quadcab going on 2 years now, we had them on my wifes GT PT Cruiser for the 3 years that she had that and will be putting them on her HHR. Never had any issues with any of them
