Depends on your insurer. (Speaking from intimate experience)

GEICO paid out an average of three comparable HHR's being offered in the local area, minus $500 for my deductible. After the GMAC payoff was done, I had about $5000 left over, which I put down on Stitch II, and had him less than a week after Stitch I was a goner.

well i paid 10500 for it, and just got news today that they gonna pay out 12k after everythings all done.

I think you can make out pretty well on this. With the low prices on uses HHRs, you should easily be able to find one in that range. Take you time, shop hard, and get yourself a good deal.
