I think since its white it looks better with out them, but if your car was black i think it looks better with them, If you painted them whit to match your car i think it would look very nice.

were they stick on? Or in-channel?

what did you do with them?

I am considering buying a set of In Channel...but only because I am a smoker, and you cant roll the window down even 2mm in the rain and NOT get wet(cloth interior + water = no good)

I agree...a white HHR looks better without them...but black or DSM...looks fine.

I like how they make our side windows even smaller, one of the things i love about the HHR is low profile on the windows.

They are Weathertec in channels. Since they are easy to install and remove, I will keep them to change the look up. I agree on the white car, it looks better without them. They were one of the 1st mods I did.

I don't care for them personally--I rarely open the windows anyhow and use the sunroof as my 'window'. I think they take away from the smooth curves/art deco look of the car, but I do think tinting the front to at least match the rest makes a difference.

I know they serve a purpose.

Much better!!! I've always thought they were guady looking and cheapened the look of most vehicles!! Kinda like curb feelers and those little fin things people used to put on wipers!
