Well, what if they don't make it in the orange when they release it? And secondly, which is better Dollarwise, to buy one now and trade it for the SS whenever the dealer markup mania is over OR to wait a year and bite the bullet on the dealer markup. And forgetting money, what does your little HEART desire? After all, we are car nuts here!

 

well if they start marking them up, I'll just wait until the price goes down. And if they only make them in a limited supply, I'll just have to get something else then. Like maybe a new Camaro SS in 08!

If GM wants to stay in business, the dealers will not be allowed to mark them up. But as Gordon Gecko put it, "Ladies and gentlemen, greed is good." I guess we'll see in a coupla years.

 

Do you have some secret, or legal way, to prevent the dealers from doing that. If so, sell it to all the car dealers. All dealers, for any brand, do it sooner or later. Manufacturers cannot prevent dealers forom doing this...per your federal government...fair trade, price fixing, etc. etc.
