It's not that difficult. Just be patient with the clips that hold the cover on next to the radiator and the fenders above the tires. Also, you may want to mark a spot on a wall, if possible, where the original lights are aimed so you can aim the new ones once installed. There is a allen wrench adjustment on them. Good luck!

Im going to do this soon, still have to order them. I think the main thing is to take your time and put some padding under the bumper in case it drops.
I will do the projectors too eventually, but not sure if I will do it with the depos or modify the stock ones. Officer, when you attemped to get some projectors made, did they try to use depos, stock, or other aftermarket headlights?

It's not from trying to do projectors but I can tell you from experience.... There's no joy to be had, trying to take the factory headlights apart. If I could have gotten the one back together and waterproof will never be known because the headlights were lost to the flood, but I doubt very much they would have worked out.... They were that "botched" from taking them apart.

Try it on something else, trying the GM ones is throwing away money.

It was Doctuh that was paying someone to do projectors, and that guy couldn't even get the GM lights apart...... Whoever that was does that for a living too.

Sorry for stealing your thread, 1151
