LOL. No big deal.

I'm jealous that you got your hands on a 2010 SS... my dealer couldn't find any when they located my LS.

Thank you all for the info and to nacademus for the pic. That is exactly what is leaking on my car. If I had not had my car serviced I may never have known of either of these issues until they failed. Now I can get them repaired under warranty. That alone makes the trip to the shop worthwhile.

These forums are great for finding information and tips on our vehicles. It's a shame when someone's personal agenda hijacks a thread and wastes the time of those who contribute useful information here. This forum is typically one of the friendlier ones I have joined. I wish CX9 forums had the amount of activity that these ones do.

Emill713. Glad you got some good info, especially from Nacademus. We on this forum do tend to "wander" off subject alot. Some wander more than others. Some wander, well, you know........

The seal in that photo leaked at 27,000 miles. It was not abused. Sometimes you just get shoddy components. I would not always assume a premature seal failure is due to abuse.

This thread could have been over with the third post. 1) Question asked, 2) question answered, 3) answer acknowledged. Got to love the internet....

Saving money is a "personal agenda" that is a waste of time? If you are saying that I am not "friendly" because I asked a question that you did not like (Why did you have a trans service that apparently was not indicated) or answered a question in detail more than you intended, SORRY!

If you took my semi-political (naming a political figure) comment personally, then you got a problem!

Newt Gingrich is a racist! Both Bushes were bad! Does that make you feel better? You have no idea what my "personal agenda" is.

So, I suppose I should now take offense, as you did.

I do not care if anybody wastes their own hard earned money, but I don't understand "because my grandfather did" as reason, and I like to try to save peoples money. If you ask a question on the internet you should not get your "panties in a wad" about the answers you get.

It is the Christ-Mass (X-Mass, xmas, Harvest Festival, etc.) season, when skins get thin (My wife's sure does). I still do not know how this DISCUSSION got to the point of "personal" stuff.

Please PM me with what you consider anything I typed that is of "a personal agenda nature".

MAYBE, we can all LIGHTEN up; "IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE" is on!

OH, and WELCOME to the INTERNET and the forum!

Seriously??? You crapped all over his thread. He asked a simple question (look at the title of the thread). He didn't ask for opinion; yours or anyone elses. That all came after you entered. This thread would have been over with post #3 as I said in my previous post. That is, if you hadn't chimed in with post #4.....

Agreed. Even though my answer was "incomplete".

Terminology is subjective, but I knew what the op was asking and I answered it.

Everyone: Thread needs to stay on topic. Enough said.
