Warranty Info Please

Hey guys, Had a few questions...

My 3 year 36,000 mile warranty is going to run out in about 1,000 miles. I have been having stuttering issues with the car (misfires) off and on still. The dealership changed the PCM recently and it fixed it for a short while and is messing up yet again off and on.

Now, when this 36,000 mile warranty runs out will i then have to pay for these repairs out of my pocket or is my 5 year 100,000 mile warranty cover these types still?

Thanks!

If it symptoms have been documented at the dealer. Should be retroactive. I'm sure other will chime in. There is also a list of what is covered under the 100,000 somewhere on the site too.

Agreed. I'd still take it one more time and let them know about the issue just to make sure they are aware of it, even if they don't find anything.

You have an ECM and if equipped with an automatic a TCM. Both are covered by emissions warranty 8/80.

BoostedSS,

I suggest taking your vehicle back into the dealership. Right now you are under your Bumper to Bumper warranty; I recommend you take advantage of it. Let us know what you find out, thank you!

Well, traded it in today on a 2012 Cruze RS Turbo. The dealership said the warranty that was about to run on for the 3/36,000 would be the only one covering EVERYTHING. After it expires electrical things like other computers and all wouldn't be covered. Instead of gambling i just got a new car and am happy as heck. I love this little gas saver. 30mpg city already :)
