Well I'm impressed

Took a trip up to the Manitoulin Island (God's country) for the weekend (Haweater weekend). It's a trip of about 630 km's (400 mi.). I reset my fuel milage at the beginning and just got home. I averaged 6.9l/100 kms. That is 34 mpg (U.S. gal.) or 41mpg (imperial gal.). I guess the motor is getting broken in and loosening up. That's my best ever.
Only saw one other HHR on the island, a nice orange one.

Very nice! If you run these Ecotecs right you can get back some nice mpg's!

I'm finding that 35 is resonable in 70/30 hwy city driving and 40 is possible in flat out highway if you drive it for mileage.

That's great mileage! I have only put one tank full thru my new LS. I drive 85% highway - 15% in town. My average was 34.2 mpg. This is great compared to my '05 Impala

The reason it's called God's country is because God only knows where it is.

Officially, it's called Rainbow country, But anywhere north of Parry Sound is good to me.
