With the bad weather over the holidays and the resulting slower sales, the sale was extended through the end of the month. The best time to buy SUVs and crossovers is in late spring/early summer. For new ones, if you can wait until August and take advantage of fire-sale deals on leftover '07s, you can get an even better deal.
Or you can be like me and buy one, sight unseen until delivery, no rebates and the GMS discount. If you really want the car now and have no other reason to wait, buy now. If the weather's been that bad up there, they're ready to deal now, especially at the end of the month. Work 'em over good.
