Actually she is planning a bit of a 60's "surfer girl" look but who knows... that may change...

Anyways, it is nice to have another Daytona Blue in the STLHHR club along with yours...

See ya soon!

Aw...that's sweet. The "Surfer Girl" theme would be cool too--especially if you could find a decal for that in the same script as your "Surf Wagon" decal.

OMG, yesterday I installed my first mod--an XM radio in the top glove compartment, and now I'm itching to do more. I think saving up for the flat-screen TV may have to take a back seat to running boards and a dash kit now

A flat screen would be great!!! Maybe a 36 inch with surround sound...

Then we could all pull up lawn chairs and watch American Graffitti in your hatch during the next g2g...

So, is that XM radio receiver permanent or removable? Bet it sounds great and a lot more options for those long drives...

It's semi-permanent. The cradle is mounted in the compartment with the sticky tape on the pedestal that came with it. I used an add-a-fuse on panel #21 to add another lighter socket behind the panel cover, fished the wires up through the dashboard (hilarity did not ensue), and ran the antenna lead from the back hatch tucked under the headliner windlace to the front. Took about an hour and a half with running back and forth to the store to get the little things, like the right size ring terminal for the ground connection.

Congrats Tim and Angie!!! Can't wait to see it in person. Now we really need a G2G! This calls for a celebration.

I know Angie already has a few more mods in mind... Her "Kahuna Do List" is getting longer everyday.

We need to stop by Mike's local HHRStore for a set of those smoothie door locks as well...

Good question...

We removed them when we installed the leather seatcovers... After installing them, my fiance liked the feel without the armrest much better. No interference with the cup holders or the emergency brake... It gives a bit of a sportier feel like the SS HHR seats.

Also allows much more comfort for those spontanious front seat "make-out" sessions...

We still have them set aside in the house if she changes her mind and wants them back on.
