what a *****

i was drriving to work coming up on the interstate and noticed a hhr ss that sounded like it had a exhaust on it. so i pull up next to this grumpy old guy and asked if he had a aftermarket exhaust on it. HIS reply of course it has a exhaust it is a gas engine moron and he drives away. i guess the world is going to hell no one can be polite anymore.

Kindness and civility are going away it seems, but then again, some people are just jerks plain and simple. Just remember that for every thimble brain like that guy, there are a hundred really nice people.

That fellow must have been missing his blessings if you know what I mean. On the bright side we aren't married to him, guess they will sell a "SS" to any one who can fog a mirror !!

I have to add some times just being old can make you grumpy

Yeah, I think some of us (me included) maybe assume that other HHR drivers are gaga over their little retro-wagon, when in fact, it's just a small percentage of HHR owners that you could call 'enthusiasts'. To most, its just an appliance. I wave to other HHR drivers on occasion, but yet to get a waive back.

What would it cost to do a mass-mailing to all HHR owners advertising this website?

Yeah, most give you the "Who are you?" look! But I try anyway. At least most bikers will still wave to other bikers passing (except for some of the Harley riders who cannot be bothered to wave unless it's another Harley).

99% of the time I am kind and friendly but catch me in that 1% and I might have said something even worse than what he did. Maybe he was just having a bad day.
